This is to be drunk straight up or on the rocks. On the nose there are fruity spicy floral cocoa maple syrup and wood characters. On the palate there are hints of ripe plums cherries and the delivery is robust full but always mellow. Great.

The Glenlivet 12 Year-Old
The perfect example of the floral, grassy and fruity Speyside style. This Glenlivet is soft and delicate, perhaps lacking in the challenging flavours of more richly flavoured malt, but very smooth and crisp tasting. I would normally hesitate to add ice to a single malt but this is just superb slightly chilled as a refreshing and delicate aperitif.
