A fine award-winning amber hued Cask Aged Golden Rum. This remarkably developed and complex medium-aged rum has a distinctive delicate taste and is aged for a minimum of 5 years in bourbon oak barrels. Its unique character comes from the skillful blending of traditional aged rums from the Uitvlugt Savalle Still and the Enmore wooden Coffey Still. Exceptionally versatile, it can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks or for creating premium cocktails.

A sure-fire hit from Ableforth’s, Rumbullion! is a cockle-warming spiced concoction, based on the kind of rich, full-bodied rums the seafaring fraternity would have enjoyed centuries ago. At the core of this fabulous winter warmer lies a blend of the very finest high proof Caribbean rum, to which was added creamy Madagascan vanilla and a generous helping of zesty orange peel. A secret recipe was followed, finished with a handful of cinnamon and cloves and just a hint of cardamom. Rumbullion! proudly flaunts its maritime inspiration with a label that bears a hand-drawn illustration of a Navy grog tub, emblazoned with the words: “The Queen, God Bless Her”, and just like all of the fine spirits in the Ableforth’s arsenal, each bottle is wrapped in crinkled brown paper, wound with twine and sealed with black wax. Hand-crafted in small batches on the island of Barbados- known as the “Rum Island” – Bumbu is delicately blended with some of the world’s purest water, naturally filtered by Barbados’ coral limestone. Unlike most islands in the West Indies (formed by volcanoes), Barbados is a limestone island created by coral reefs. Distilleries elsewhere filter their water – not so for Bumbu as ground water is forced through the limestone and purified naturally.
