Ruby red with gold trim. Bright and deep complex aromas. Great balance between fruit (cherries, plums, ripe blackberries) and clear tones from the wood (clove, pepper, vanilla and coconut). The sense of smell is intensified to a more with the aromas that develop during aging in bottle. It is smooth and balanced on the palate with a permanent, long and full end of elegant taste. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of about 28 degree Celsius. Aged for 18 months in American and French oak barrels.

Campo viejo rioja tempranillo is medium bodied red wine. It has a cherry red colour, suggestive of a vibrant Tempranillo wine with it’s rich aromas have a pronounced intensity with an initial scent of ripe red fruit followed by gentle sweet notes of vanilla and spices. It is perfumed, soft and fresh with a long finish that leaves memories of red fruit, vanilla and cocoa. It won Bronze awards for International Wine Challenge 2013, International Wine and Spirit Competition 2013 and International Wine and Spirit Competition 2012 and Silver award for Expovina 2013. It contains 13.5% alcohol by volume.

VINIFICATION Classical vinification with destemmed, crushed grapes, employing new fermentation control technologies and long maceration periods. AGEING Aged for 24 to 30 months in American oak barrels, with appropriate rackings. Aged in the bottle for at least 12 months before being put on the market. SERVING TEMPERATURE Serve at 16 – 18 ºC. TASTING NOTES Intense cherry-red with brick hues. Clean, powerful aromas on the nose, with harmony between the oak ageing and vinous notes. Wide structure in the mouth; tasty and full-bodied. Polished, gentle tannins. Its aromas continue on the finish, which is long and persistent. Well-developed and mature, with an assured long life in bottle.
