Extremely powerful and silky, it’s a blend of Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon that has been aged in new French oak barrels for 14 months, this unfiltered red wine has an expressive spicy nose with hints of clove and a luxurious taste of black fruits and spices with a caramelized finish. Nice depth with complex notes of Havana tobacco.

This Chateau was the property of the Liquard family. With the marriage between Miss Liquard and Paul Delon, the Chateau became the property of the Delon family. In the 1970’s, the estate was managed by their son, Michel Delon, then by their grandson, Jean-Hubert Delon since 2000. The summer of 1995 brought high temperatures and a good drought, favourable for the perfect ripening of the grapes. The ideal conditions continued during harvesttime, ensuring the grapes remained nice and healthy through to the last bunch picked.

Brancott Estate Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon 75cl
Brancott Estate Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon is a Red wine from New Zealand and created from a mixed grapes including Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes where harvested in the Hawkes Bay region of North Island of New Zealand. The fruit was cold soaked to assist colour extraction prior to and post fermentation using selected yeast strains. A combination of new and 1-4 years old French and American oak barrels were used for maturation creating a balance of flavour and tannins. It is intense on the palate with flavours of plum and cassis fruit with underlying coffee, chocolate and leather.
