Old J Tiki Fire Spiced Rum
In 1740 Admiral Edward Vernon enforced a reduction in the strength of the British Navy’s rum ration. When his men complained, Vernon suggested the addition of limes and sugar to make the drink more enjoyable. Old J was created in honour of this unlikely mixologist who was known as Old Grog. Mezan Jamaican XO Rum 40% 70cl
This Jamaican rum was blended from rums dating back to 1983. It was then re-casked in oak barrique to allow the blend to further develop and produce a wondeful harmonious balance between the natural aromatics of the rum and the complex influences of the oak casks.
Bottled one cask at a time in April 2011.A blend of casks from Hampden (see below) and Monymusk. Monymusk like Hampden has Scottish roots and is one of the oldest plantations in Jamaica. In the mid-18th century it was owned by Sir Archibald Grant who also owned a Slaving Station in West Africa which provided labour for his plantation. Traditionally it supplied rum in bulk for blending but the quality of high ester rum from here as always been of the highest.
The Barrique XO was originally blended from rums of between 4 and 23 Year Old and then re-casked for many years prior to bottling.

Brugal 1888 Gran Reserva Familiar Rum 70cl

1888 takes it’s name from the year that Brugal was founded in the Dominican Republic by Don Andres Brugal Montaner.
1888 leads the way in double aging, it is a full-bodied experience that rests first for up to eight years in hand-picked, ex-bourbon American oak casks, followed by a second maturation of up to six years in European oak first-fill sherry casks.
A deep amber colour is the result of this maturation. This is a complex yet balanced rum with remarkable taste and a long smooth finish that evolves in the glass.

Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva Rum 70cl
Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva is a blend of 20 per cent light column distilled rums with 80 per cent pot still rums aged up to 12 years, a proportion of which are rums from exceptional barrels which are used in Master Blender Tito Cordero’s secret preparation.
Although he won’t reveal the ages of the rums used, Tito has disclosed that he mixes these exceptional rums with a little cane sugar prior to blending with the main body of rums to amplify their flavour so they impart a slight touch of sweetness and a distinctive flavour to the finished rum.Launched in 2004, the postage stamp-like label of Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva depicts a bearded gentleman named Don Juancho Nieto Melendez, who was noted rum enthusiast in the town close to the distillery. Don Juancho was widely travelled and over the years amassed a large collection of rums which he took great pleasure in offering his guests at the lavish dinner parties he held at his house.

Ron de Jeremy Spiced 70cl
Ron de Jeremy spiced rum has an amazing depth of flavour. It is skillfully blended using all natural ingredients, to give a rich and well rounded rum. Deep caramel in colour, this complex rum dispays notes of nutmeg, ciannamon and vanilla with hints of black coffee and lime. As you would expect from the risque world of adult entertainment, this spiced rumm packs a hefty punch at 47% ABV, the slight touch of burn heightening the pleasure.
