• Daffys Small Batch Premium Gin 70cl

Daffy’s is a gin like no other, created from the finest French grain spirit, distilled on an ancient copper pot whisky still with Lebanese mint and the finest botanicals to create a gin that is classic, complex, perfectly balanced and fresh with a world of intrigue.

Daffy’s Gin has been crafted to be enjoyed straight over ice like the finest of malt whiskies, to make the ultimate D&T, the very best of Negroni and other great cocktails. We are very excited to be able to share Daffy’s with you.

It has been bottled at a very specific 43.4% ABV, as the distillers believe this to be the perfect strength for their expression – not excessively punchy, but with enough power behind it for balance and flavour.

The bottle design, incidentally, is the work of Robert McGinnis, the American artist who made film posters for various James Bond and Matt Helm films as well as Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Barbarella!

    TASTING NOTES
Angelica and sweet lemon are rather pronounced on the finish.

  • Cynar Artichoke Bitter

Cynar can be taken as either an aperitif (generally over ice), or as a cocktail (mixed with soda water and lemon or orange slice, or with cola, eggnog, tonic water, milk or bitter lemon soda). Europeans often mix it with orange juice, especially in Switzerland where Cynar and orange juice is a very popular combination. A variation of the Negroni cocktail uses Cynar in place of Campari. Because of its artichoke component, Cynar is also regarded as a digestive, as well as an apéritif.
