Chateau Kefraya, Les Breteches Red 2014 75cl
Lebanon’s Cinsault has been growing in the Bekaa Valley for more than a century. In this respect, and bearing in mind the other exciting grapes that make up the blend, Les Bretèches is a quintessential Lebanese wine.
With a finely spiced nose of blackcurrant and cherry, it reveals silky tannins and generous red fruits flavors.
The launch of each vintage is celebrated with a limited edition label designed by a young Lebanese artist.
Numerous prizes have been won by this wine: the International Wine & Spirit Competition awarded the 2013, 2010 and 2009 vintage Silver Outstanding award:
Judges Tasting Notes Ruby fading to garnet in colour. Warm, herbal and spicy bouquet, with nuances of cloves and cinnamon, and a savoury, briary freshness. Smooth and utterly delicious flavour and texture, redolent with fruit and caramel-like sweetness, laced with herbs to enhance and extend the finish.

Laurent-Perrier brut Millesime (2004) is an outstanding and rare wine. Laurent-Perrier’s brut Millesime is a blend of chardonnay grands crus from the Cote des Blancs. A light yellow with delicate beading. Subtle nose with hints of fresh pineapple, dried apricots and almonds. A very pleasant, rounded attack, followed by a marked balance between freshness and intensity. The finish is lively, offering hints of white peach and Mirabelle plum.Laurent-Perrier brut Millesime pairs well with smooth and creamy dishes. Its roundness and delicacy will prolong tasting pleasure with poultry or other white meats (poached rather than grilled).
