Glenmorangie Lasanta Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70 cl
Elegant but full bodied this whisky has spent ten years maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before being extra-matured for a further two years in Oloroso and PX Sherry casks from Jerez in Spain. Lasanta is Gaelic for warmth and passion, a reminder not just of the Spanish provenance of these Oloroso sherry butts, but also a reflection of this expressions lusciously soft texture and deep, enticingly sweet aroma. Non chill-filtered for additional aroma and mouth feel. Aroma: Warm spices mix with smooth chocolate covered raisins, honeycomb and caramel toffee. Taste: Deliciously sweet sherry flavoured sultanas orange segments, walnuts and butterscotch combine to create complex warm spices. Finish: Long and satisfying finish with spiced orange and chocolate covered hazelnuts.

The Metaxa Private Reserve is made yearly by the Metaxa Master, who selects the well-aged expressions of Greek brandy from the extensive cellars, using distillates matured for up to 30 years. Following this, he blends them to create the Metaxa Private Reserve, the cream of the Metaxa crop, if you will. Notes of old honey, bitter citrus peel, chocolate and coffee, mixture of sweet spices, pear compote. Complex and generous. Gentle oak, dried figs, raisins, tobacco and orange peel.

Domaine Wardy Private Selection Syrah-Cab-Merlot 2006
Only 12,000 bottles were produced. Extremely powerful and silky, it’s a blend of Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon that has been aged in new French oak barrels for 14 months, this unfiltered red wine has an expressive spicy nose with hints of clove and a luxurious taste of black fruits and spices with a caramelized finish. Nice depth with complex notes of Havana tobacco.
